Public-health nurse Lisa White is available at the Charlemont Federated Church (175 Main Street/Route 2) on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon for drop-in services, as well as on the third Tuesday of each month from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in conjunction with the Good Neighbors Food Distribution. Lisa can help with the following:
- Help with Self-Management of Medication / Health Issues
- Blood Pressure Screening
- Blood Glucose Screening
- Health Information
- Needle/Sharps disposal
- Mercury Thermometer disposal
These services are contracted on behalf of Hawley residents by the Hawley Board of Health and are provided by the Franklin Regional Council of Governments. Email Lisa.
