INVITATION FOR BIDS:
The Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG) will accept sealed bids on behalf of the Town of Hawley, MA for reconstruction services on Ashfield Road. Sealed bids marked “HAWLEY – ASHFIELD ROAD RECONSTRUCTION BID” and will be received by FRCOG, 12 Olive St. Ste 2, Greenfield, MA 01301, until June 4, 2024 at 2 PM.
MASSDOT Prequalification in “Highway Construction” for $681,055 is required. Wage rates are subject to MGL Ch149, Section 26 – 27f inclusive and the bid is being undertaken per MGL Ch 30 §39M requiring a 5% bid bond/deposit and 50% Labor and Materials Payment Bond. Qualified bidders who are M/W/D/BE businesses are encouraged to apply. Other qualified bidders are encouraged to partner with disadvantaged businesses. A Prebid Meeting will be held MAY 21, 2024 AT 10 AM meeting at the Hawley Fire Station. The meeting is Mandatory for all bidders. The Town of Hawley is the awarding authority and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in total or in part as they may deem in the best public interest.
