Internet Woes

Dear Hawleyites and Neighbors:

Here’s a quick bulletin about our shaky connection to the World Wide Web. Many of you who use the system now maintained by GoNetSpeed have reported that your internet service is either erratic or nonexistent. I am encountering problems even as I type this.

The Selectboard is trying to get in touch with authorities to see whether any emergency measures can be taken. Meanwhile, if you are a GoNetSpeed customer and are experiencing difficulties, please call (855) 891-7291 and request a ticket for troubleshooting. You may also contact the company at smarthub.notify@gonetspeed.com and request a ticket by filling out the form.

Keep in mind the Fire Department Open House/Anniversary Party this coming Sunday, September 15, from 2 p.m. on at the Hawley Grove. And if you want to register for Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Day (September 21), please note that you must do so by this Friday, September 13.
