Hooray for Our New Website!

Hawley has just been given a lovely holiday present. Our new website has been selected by the Massachusetts Municipal Association as the best website for a Massachusetts town with a population under 5000. The award will be presented in January and is technically for 2024 … but it will be 2024 before we know it.

The award letter said, “The website scored among the highest in categories that evaluated navigation and organization of material, convenience of information, functionality, and overall experience of the website. The MMA applauds your efforts in making this website an effective tool for your community.”

Congratulations to everyone who helped with the website, particularly the Communications Committee, especially Peter Beck; the Selectboard; and our terrific designer, Bill Tuman.
