Join the Shelburne Falls Military Band on the lawn of the Federated Church in Charlemont (inside the church if it's raining). This enthusiastic group of musicians is always a crowd pleaser for the whole family. The concert is free. Bring lawn chairs in case there aren't enough at the church!
The Charlemont Forum presents Astronomy Professor Douglas Arion of Carthage College and Mountains of Stars. He will talk about light pollution, its harmful effects on humans and nature, and what we can do about it. This free program is funded in part by the Charlemont-Hawley Arts Council.
