Cold Weather Odds and Ends
Dear Friends and Neighbors:
I was glad to hear that no one lost power last weekend. Of course, we still had–and have–to deal with ridiculously cold temperatures, but at least we had light, water, and heat.
Just a reminder that tomorrow at the library there’s a free class about Artificial Intelligence. (See the flyer above.) Most of us don’t know a lot about it, but it seems to be everywhere these days so a little information makes sense.
I also want to let you know that the date for the “town hall” session with Senator Paul Mark has changed. It will now take place on Monday, March 9, at 5:30 p.m. He couldn’t make the earlier date in the end, and this time may be better. It won’t interfere with people’s work days, but it will still take place in daylight. (Daylight Savings Time begins the previous day.) I should have more details and a flyer very soon.
Meanwhile, stay warm! Maybe you can find a friend to snuggle with like my Cocoa and her buddy JoJo (see below). These two are determined to resist the cold.
That’s it for this week….
