Illumination This Weekend!

When I listed upcoming events in last week’s newsletter, I forgot the first one, Hawley’s Annual Illumination Party.

This will take place this Sunday, December 8, at 4 p.m. at the Hawley Meeting House on East Hawley Road.

This party is never long (the Meeting House has no heat!), but it is always delightful. Hawleyites gather to sing some carols, sip warm beverages, and light up the building.

This year, the Sons & Daughters are introducing two new activities: a cookie swap (bring cookies to share and a container in which you can carry away delicious treats) and ornament decorating. Dress warmly, and bring the whole family!
